A significant number of reviewers praised the Gold Wash service for its ability to keep vehicles clean, especially during the winter months. Customers like Michael Tinch and Scott MacIntosh noted that the wash is well maintained and performs better than typical gas station car washes. Additionally, many appreciate the convenience of being able to wash their vehicles frequently, with some members mentioning they wash their cars every other day.

The availability of clean bays and well-maintained equipment, as noted by Jonathan O'Brien, further enhances the overall customer experience.
However, not all feedback is positive. A troubling review from Tegan Allen addresses an incident where she was asked to leave while collecting recyclables from the garbage cans. This interaction raised concerns about the owner's attitude towards individuals trying to engage in environmentally friendly practices. Such experiences contrast sharply with the otherwise friendly and welcoming atmosphere reported by many other customers.
- Highly rated wash services especially during winter.
- Clean and well-maintained facilities.
- Convenient for frequent washes as a club member.
- Positive customer interactions generally, though a few negative experiences noted.
- Owner’s response to customers may vary significantly.

Very happy, except I wish I could wash my wife’s car just once during the month. Her car is registered on your website.

I started using the service in Nov 2024. It is the best thing since sliced bread. The car never had salt build up, and best of all I never got cold or wet, and the car always looked clean. Excellent service provided, thank you.

I like the wash club. The gold wash is great. It keeps my new vehicle clean and spotless. The car wash is well maintained and seems to work better than any gas station car washes. Thank you Rubber Duck!

The Gold Wash at Rubber Duck is great, especially during the winter months to get the salt and grime off your vehicle when it’s too cold to do it yourself by hand. I find it better than any of the gas station car washes I’ve tried. Joining the wash club is 100% worth your money.

This is the second weekend in a row. That I have sat outside the self was car bays with others as well as myself waiting to use them properly. Watching people new to the province pehapes to the Country. Hand washing there vehicles. Today 2 people were doing it. And i mean hand washing . Buckets in hand, Opening there doors and washing the inside of them. While others burn there fuel or burn there fuel and get frustrated and leave. If i tried doing this with my truck. Im pretty sure i would get told off or worse . This is happening and there is a car wash worker on site. If I'm wrong or the confused about how people are supposed to use these please let me know. Perhaps i well start bringing a bucket as well. But I thought hand washing was not allowed. 30 min wait. Give me a break. ( Managments first response idacates hand washing is totally acceptable , Just a statement that they have places for the public to wash there vehicles. So grab your buckets and head on down to your nearest RubberDuck location. Where Hand washing is welcomed at all sites. You get 5 stars for that, From me.

Clean bays and the equipment is well maintained. Love the timer on the back wall. Let's me know how to budget my time and it also gives an approximation of wait time for people in line. Quack quack!!

I go around the city collecting cans from sidewalks, ditches, garbage cans, wherever I can get them. I know that a lot of people dispose of them in garbage cans at car washes. So, minding my own business, I started grabbing cans from the garbages by the vacuum machines. I walk into the wash bays to check those garbages, and the owner comes over and asks if I like garbage. I said “no, I’m collecting cans” and he paused for a minute and said “well we don’t need you in here doing that.” Mind you, this process takes me 30 seconds to check each garbage can, I would have been leaving within a couple of minutes. I laughed and said “I think you mean thank you for clearing out your recyclables.” And he grabs my arm and says “no we throw them in the trash, you need to leave.” I threaten to call the police if he touches me again and he says “good, I’ll tell them I told you to leave.”
I’m trying to make a living, while helping clean up the environment, and doing my part to save recyclables from going to the landfills. If anything, I was making more room in their precious dumpster for trash. Why was I kicked out and grabbed for something that was not hurting anybody, but in fact, actually helping people AND the environment?
After this very rude interaction, I’ll be sure to spread the word NOT to get your car washed at Rubber Duck Car Wash. The owner is actively against recycling, and is rude to people who are just trying to scrape together a few dollars, not a good look.
